Add Taxes Discounts and Fees to Products

The information in this article is for merchants using Helcim's Legacy System. If you signed up for Helcim on or after June 1, 2020, please click here.

  • At the home screen press Catalog
  • To add a Fee press Fee and Add Fee. Once in the Create Fee screen enter in the Code, Type (Percentage of Fixed Amount) and either a fixed amount or percentage and press done.
  • To add a Discount press Disc and Add discount. Once in the Create Discount screen, enter in the Code, Type (Percentage of Fixed Amount) and either a fixed amount or percentage and press done.
  • To add Tax press Tax and Add Tax. Once in the Create Tax screen, enter in the Code, Type (Percentage of Fixed Amount) and either a fixed amount or percentage and press done.

To use a Discount or Fee while in the register:

  • Add your items for the purchase.
  • Once items have been selected press Disc/Surch where you can choose the previously created Discount or Surcharge and this will automatically add it to the order. You can see the Discount/Surcharge by pressing Order Details.
