Configuring a PBX Code

The information in this article is for merchants using Helcim's Legacy System. If you signed up for Helcim on or after June 1, 2020, please click here.

If you need to have a special number or sequence of numbers to reach an outside telephone line, this is called the PBX code and must be entered into the terminal before it can use the telephone line.

Press #
Press 3 for Setup
Press 2 for Communications
Press 2 for Dial
Press 1 for Access Code

Key in the correct number needed to dial out. If a pause is needed press the correct key for the needed number and then press .,#* and press F until you see a comma, then press the next needed number.
Press Enter when complete.
Press the red Cancel key to return to the welcome screen.
