SHA2 Security Update

As a result of the numerous cyber attacks in recent years, SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm - the security groundwork of the internet) is being replaced by more secure protection called TLS v1.2/SHA-2.

Due to the high risk involved in processing cardholder data, it is important to upgrade your terminal as soon as possible to keep sensitive data protected.

You must settle your batch prior to starting the download.

As an additional security measure, the download will also remove your merchant ID number and terminal ID from the receipts.

Please note that if your curent firewall restricts the terminal's access to Elavon's network, you will first need to whitelist the following IP addresses in your firewall rule:
