Adding Store Menus and Headers & Footers

You are in control of the look and feel of your online store, including adding custom menus that allow you to showcase the products and collections your customers are most interested in.

To begin editing the menus for your store, click on Online Store and Online Store Configuration from your Helcim Account. You can now access the Menus and Header and Footer by clicking on the Online Store menu on the right-hand side of your screen.

Menus

These settings let you modify the buttons that appear in the header and footer of the online store and where in the online store the buttons will direct your customers. When you are on the Menu Page of the online store, you can edit the buttons for your Header (the menu on the top of the page) and your Footer (the menu on the bottom of the page). The Menu List shows all of the buttons that are currently assigned to your site.

If you would like to add a new menu item, use the text box and drop-down options to enter the name for the new menu and specify where you want the button to go. Once you are done, click on Add. Once you are done adding items to the Header of your online store, click on Footer and repeat the same steps to apply the changes. To apply all of your changes to the Header and Footer section of your online store, click on Save in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Header & Footer

The content added into the Header and Footer section of your online store will be displayed in the top and bottom banner of the page when the radio buttons are set to On. You can choose whether your want to turn the Header, Footer, or both On. Once you have selected On the section will be active allowing you to enter and format your content using the text boxes. You can switch between the Header and Footer text boxes by clicking on the buttons at the top of the page, the section you are editing will be highlighted in blue.

Click on Save to apply your changes.
