Creating a Payment Page from a Template
Payment pages give your business an easy and secure way to accept credit cards online.

Creating Payment Pages for Invoice Payments and Donations
To quickly create a new payment page from a template, click on
Payment Page List under
New From Template in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Fill in the required fields.
Transactions type: Use the drop-down to select either Card Purchase or Card Pre-auth.
Currency: Use the drop-down to select your preferred currency from the list of enabled currencies. Terminal: Use the drop-down to select the corresponding terminal.
Use: Use the drop-down to select the desired page type.
- Invoice Payment – For customers paying dollar amounts.
- Customer Registration – To be used when no payment occurs. Use this page for adding customer information into Commerce ie. registering a customer.
- Recurring Subscription – To be used with the Buy Button generator for automatically adding a customer to a recurring plan using a payment page.
- Shopping Cart – To be used with the Buy Button generator for adding Products to a payment page.
Once settings are in place, click on
Next you will enter in the settings.
Name: The name of the payment page.
Active: Toggle the radio button to
On for ACTIVE or
Off for INACTIVE.
Language: Select from enabled languages in your Commerce settings (English by default).
Page Forwarding: The URL that customers will be sent to upon approval or cancellation.
Approval Auto Forward: If this option is enabled it will send customers to a URL.
Approval Send POST: If enabled, POST data from the transaction (Customer Name, Billing, Shipping Info etc. but NOT Card Data) will be sent to the server hosting the Approval URL.
Approval URL: Enter in the desired Approval URL.
Cancel URL: Enter in the desired Cancellation URL.
Payment Page Settings
Transaction Type: Use the drop-down to select Card Purchase or Card Pre-auth.
Currency: Use the drop-down to select enabled Currencies.
Terminal: Use the drop-down to select the Terminal .
Allow Customer Login: Toggle the button to
On to allow the customer to log in with their User ID or choose to continue as a Guest.
Force Customer Login: Toggle the button to
On to require the customer to log in to complete a purchase.
Payment Terms: Toggle the button to
On to enable the payment terms to be displayed on the Payment Page. Payment Terms are also referred to as Merchant Policies and they can be edited in your account settings, learn more here.
Show On Page: Toggle the button to
On to show products on the page.
Show on Page is only to be used if products are being attached to the Payment Page with the Buy Button Generator.
Allow Editing: Toggle the button to
On to allow editing for the number of products attached to payment page.
Calculate Taxes: Toggle the button to
On to calculate taxes based on either the location of the customer or the location of the merchant terminal. See the Tax Location drop-down at bottom for more details.
Calculate Shipping: Toggle the button to
On to calculate the shipping based on the shipping information entered by the Customer.
Calculate Total: Toggle the button to
On to calculate totals based on the quantity, taxes, and shipping details for the order.
Allow Discount Codes: Toggle the button to
On to enable a field the customer can use to enter Discount Codes.
Tax Location: Use the drop-down to determine how the tax is calculated. Select Customer for taxes based on the customer location or select Merchant Terminal for taxes based on Merchant Terminal location.
Once all settings have been entered click on
Save to apply your changes. Your payment page will now be listed on the
Payment Page List under
Payment Pages, return to this landing page to view the an overview of your newly created payment page.
If you want to see the Payment Page URL you will be find it on the
Payment Page List page, it will be listed in the far right-hand column for each payment page you have created.
