Creating a New Product
Creating a detailed product list makes it easy to access items from your Point-of-Sale and when you need to create invoices.
Creating a new product listing is a two-step process whether, doing individual product entry or uploading a list of products. Step one is creating or uploading product information, Step two is adding Image(s) to the product listing.
To create individual new product listings, click on the
Product List tab under Products in you Helcim Account
In the top right-hand corner click on
Add New Product to get started.
Add New Product will open a new screen where you can enter the New Product information.
You can go through each input field on this screen to enter the information specific to the new Product including:
Name: Product name
Category: Select an existing category, or use the Categories tab to create a new selection
Brand: Select an existing Brand, or use the Brands tab to create a new Brand
SKU: Enter the products SKU number
Barcode: Enter the products Barcode number
Price ($): The regular selling price
Sale Price ($): Promotional sale price
Available Online: On/Off
Available Retail: On/Off
Featured: On/Off (For featuring product in the online store landing page)
Multi-Currency Pricing: Will display the calculated currency price if other currencies have been set up for the account. If you want to add another currency to your account, you can do so by click on the
Settings icon in the top right-hand corner of your account from any page and selecting
Merchant Account Settings and
Enter a detailed product description into the text box.
Save to apply your changes.
