Configuring Your User Settings

The information in this article is for merchants using Helcim's Legacy System. If you signed up for Helcim on or after June 1, 2020, please click here.

You can customize your user settings from the My Account section of your Helcim Account.

Once you have logged in, click on My Account and My User Settings in the bottom left-hand corner of your account to get started. You can now use the menu bar on the right-hand side of your screen to switch between the different user setting options.


My User Overview provides a quick summary of the information that is on-file in your Helcim Account. Clicking on the Pencil Icon allows you to upload a photo to your account.

Personal Info

You can edit or update your personal details:

  • First and Last Name - Enter your name
  • Cell Phone Number - Enter the best number to reach you at
  • Date of Birth - Enter your date of birth
  • SSN/SIN - Enter your Social Security Number (US) or your Social Insurance Number (CA)
  • Time Zone: The time zone you reside in

You can edit or update your home address:

  • Street Address
  • City
  • Country
  • State/Province
  • Postal/Zip Code
  • Home Telephone

Security Settings

You can create or edit your Security PIN using the text box. Your security PIN is used to confirm your identity when you call the Helcim Support Team. You can also turn-on two-factor identification for your account. Clicking on Active will turn on the restriction. By default, both of these settings are set to Inactive. If you would like to restrict which IP's can access your account, you can enter them into the text box below.

Most mobile phones have a dynamic IP that frequently changes. We recommend not enabling IP restrictions when using the mobile app. For two-factor authentication, we recommend using the mobile PIN instead.

Communication Preferences

Toggle the radio buttons On or Off to set your preferences for email communications from Helcim for different system alerts.

Change Your Password

If you need to change your password, you will need to:

  • Enter your current password into the first text box
  • Enter your new password into the second text box
  • Confirm your new password in the third text box Click Save to apply the changes.

Change Your Email

To edit your email address, you need to confirm your password, then enter the new email you want to use and click on Save.

Access Logs

When you click on Access Logs you will be able to see when you have accessed your account, which IP address was used, and if the login was successful.

My Access

When you click on My Access you are able to see your user permissions for your Helcim Accounts.
